Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
Your research matters. This page explains how information supports your Telora workspace, the services involved, and the choices you have.
Your privacy at a glance
- Your workspace, under your control. Your account and saved research let you pick up where you left off. You can export your work or request deletion.
- Information with a purpose. We use account, workspace and service-usage information to provide Telora, secure your account and improve the service.
- AI assistance. Relevant messages and workspace content are sent to AI providers to answer your requests. Research queries may also reach public sources.
- No advertising or data sales. We do not sell your information or use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
Who looks after your information
Telora is operated by its owner at abdarwish.com ("we"). For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
Private beta applications and usage allowances
When you request access, we collect your verified email, name, role, optional organization, interests and intended use. The Telora operator reviews these details to decide access. Avoid confidential information in your application.
We keep account decisions, credit grants, usage costs and access changes to manage the beta. Approval emails are sent through Zoho Mail from [email protected]; Zoho receives the recipient address and approval message. Email records show sending status, not whether you read the message. Contact us to request correction or deletion of your application.
Information that supports your workspace
These categories explain what we use and why. Open any section for the details.
Your account and secure sign-in
Your name and email identify your account. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your Google profile picture address and sign-in tokens. Invited accounts using a password store a protected (hashed) version, never the password itself.
A session token keeps you signed in. Sign-in records include the time, IP address, browser type and approximate country reported by Cloudflare. We use these records to protect the service and troubleshoot access.
During the private beta, we keep your name, email and access-request decision to manage admission.
Your research, preferences and feedback
We save your conversations, profile and interests, added sources, news and lessons, invention and publication ideas, drafts, preference notes and notifications so Telora can maintain your workspace and tailor its assistance. Your time zone and settings determine when scheduled work runs.
When you send feedback, we keep your message, feedback type, any rating and the page it came from so we can understand and respond to it.
Service usage and reliability
We record sign-ins, countries, features used, message and AI-run counts, and AI usage and cost. These figures help us understand usage, improve Telora and manage operating costs, for the service overall and for each account.
These usage reports contain counts and totals, not conversation text. We may access stored content when needed to operate the service, resolve a problem you report or meet a legal requirement.
Services involved in your requests
We use these services to provide Telora. Each handles data under its own terms and policies.
- Hosting and network. Telora runs on a server we control. Traffic reaches it through Cloudflare.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google", to confirm who you are.
- AI model providers, through OpenRouter. To write answers and do research for you, Telora sends your messages and the relevant parts of your workspace to the AI model selected for that work (you can change it in Settings), via OpenRouter and the model's provider.
- Public sources. When Telora researches on your behalf it contacts public sources such as standards bodies, vendor newsrooms, research archives and patent databases. Search terms drawn from your questions and interests may reach them.
- Telegram and browser notifications, only if you link Telegram or turn on browser notifications.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
- One session cookie keeps you signed in. It is needed for Telora to work.
- Your browser also remembers your light or dark theme and any message you have typed but not yet sent.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content until you ask us to delete them. Backups are kept on our server and replaced as newer backups are made (we keep the seven most recent of each kind), so a deleted account can remain in an older backup for a short time before it is overwritten.
Your choices
- See and download your data. Download a copy of your workspace from the Archive page.
- Control scheduled work. Switch Telora's scheduled tasks on or off in Settings.
- Delete your account. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete your account and content.
- Correct or ask about your data. Email us the same way.
Security
Connections to Telora are encrypted. Sessions use protected cookies, accounts are separated from each other, and new accounts must be approved before they can use Telora. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your devices safe.
Children
Telora is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will also tell you in Telora.
